17-5A Spartan-Maverick Battle this Tuesday!

        VS.       

The Seven Lakes program will host the Mavericks of Morton Ranch on Tuesday.  Please support all five teams this Tuesday as each of the games will be pivotal in the race for 17-5A district championships.  We'll see you  at Seven Lakes this Tuesday for a 4:00 PM game featuring the Sophomores and 9B, a 5:30 PM game for the JV and 9A, and a 7:00 PM game for the Varsity.

Spartans Take 4 of 5 from Katy
The Spartan Varsity fell to the Katy Tigers for the second time this season.  This loss drops the Varsity to 5-2 in district, but not out of contention for the title.  The Spartans look to rebound against Morton Ranch on Tuesday at home.  All other Spartan teams captured victories on Friday!

A Spartan Sweep occurs when three-five Spartans teams compete against the same school on any given Tuesday or Friday.  The SLHS men's basketball program has capitalized eleven times and has completed ELEVEN SPARTAN SWEEPS!  Congrats, Spartans.

It's not 300, but 400 for the Spartans!
With the Freshmen A's thrilling 51-50 victory over the Katy Taylor Mustangs, the Spartan basketball program has topped the 400 win plateau in less than five years!  Congratulations to all Spartan basketball players for this tremendous accomplishment!

2700 Fans Make Nike Hoops Madness a Hit!
The first official Nike Hoops Madness Game in Houston took place between the MaxPreps #1 team in the nation, the Yates Lions, and the Spartans at Katy's Leonard Merrell Center.  In front of 2,700 fans, the Spartans played a tough four quarters, but the final scored read 88-76 in favor of the Lions.
