Bird Island closes out regular season schedule with a win

The Bird Island Bullfrogs defeated the St Peter Saints 5-4 on Saturday night to close out the regular season.
Shawn Dollershell started the game on the mound, pitching 6 innings and picking up the win. Dylan Gass pitched two innings and Brad Gass closed it out, pitching the 9th.
At the plate, the Frogs were led by Ben Maiers and Dylan Gass...eaching picking up 3 hits. Logan Swan added two hits, and Tyler Hebrink, Elliot Serbus and Mark Neubauer eached added a hit.
The Bird Island Bullfrogs finished the regular season with a 15-5 record.
The Bird Island Bullfrogs host the Granite Falls Killowatts on Sunday at 1:30, in the opening round of the Cornbelt League Playoffs.
