| Game Notes: The Gladmar Falcons are a very big, athletic team which proved to be a big test for the Rockets. The game was a back and forth affair in the first half with the Falcons opening a four point half time lead. The Rockets are trying hard to establish an identity as a pressing team, but it is slowing going because they still don't want to be overly aggressive in the front and this cost them easy basket on the back end. The Rockets were told to reset their brains and get after the Falcons in the second half and boy did they ever! Coach sent out the freshest team he could and this squad delivered with two brilliant two minute shifts. Kudos to Alyssa Anderson, Hanna Crook, Natasha Pomrenke, Lindsey Hawkins and grade 9 Morgan Delorme (playing her first senior game ever) for taking care of business! The Rockets had a 22-2 quarter (eight minute quarters!) and opened an 18 point lead and coasted home in the forth by giving everyone lots of minutes. Best quarter so far this year! | |||||
