| Game Notes: The Rockets were in tough against the host team in this one, but they did have a solid game plan coming in. One part of that plan was to keep the Humboldt PG off of the score sheet and they did a great job in the first half holding to her just 7 points - well below her norm. However, problems arose when Natasha got into foul trouble early which caused sub rotations to be done 'out of whack' and did not give the team the best match-ups against the Humboldt full court pressure as a result. The Rockets played very hard in the final, but this youthful group seemed tentative in such a big game. Congratulations to Alexa, Megan and Shayla for having such outstanding careers as Rockets and good luck in all future endeavours - you made us proud! | |||||
