| Game Notes: Not sure if it was the experience of Hoopla for the first time since 1978 or whether it was the very aggressive Clavet defense, but the Rockets looked intimidated by the #1 seed in the early stages and it was evidenced by the first quarter score. As the game progressed, the Rockets settled into the atmosphere that is Hoopla and each quarter got better. One could make the argument that it got better because Clavet put their bench in, but that is not Clavet's M.O. Even in the third quarter with the game well in hand and the Rockets having three of their bench players on, Clavet still had all five starters on. The Rockets lost the second half by only one point which gave them some confidence going into the bronze game the next day. Kudos go to the entire team for flushing not there best game and getting it out of their mind heading into Saturday. Secondary kudos to Kacey and Alexa's air band rendition of Baby, Baby by Justin Bieber that was played at the post game supper which helped the team have some fun. | |||||
