Game Notes: This marked the second final of the year for the Rockets having got to the final in the Fillmore tournament back in December. It also proved to be their second silver. The Rockets were challenged to stop up against a physical team and they did just that. The Rockets played Kenaston back in December and got manhandled but it was different today. The first three quarters the Rockets met the Kodiaks blow for blow trailing by only two points going into the fourth. However, despite the return of Zaida and Alexa to the lineup and to lighten the load on the starters, the Rockets visibly hit the wall in the fourth. It was clear that the Rockets ran out of gas and Kenaston had their way with them in the fourth. It was not for a lack of trying, the Rockets just had nothing left. Kudos go to Sierra as she may a really nifty reverse lay-up in the game that was oh so pretty and for hitting a couple of three in the first quarter which kept the Rockets closer when the offense was struggling early.
