Tonianne Larson Tabbed East Coast Conference Rookie of the Week

Freshman Tonianne Larson of the softball team was selected as the East Coast Conference's Rookie of the Week, announced by the league earlier this afternoon. 

In seven appearances for the Lions, the pitcher touted a 1.81 earned run average with 14 strikeouts and 4-0 record after 31 innings of work. Larson earned her first four collegiate wins, two of which coming in came in the same day. The rookie tossed a complete game in a 4-2 victory over No. 24 Merrimack College. At the plate, she also recorded her first collegiate hit, going 1-of-3 against No. 20 Southern New Hampshire University.
