Sophie Dandola earned her second weekly CAA honor of the season and first Pitcher of the Week nod. The freshman shined for the Pride to start the weekend with a pair of massive wins in the circle, pitching a complete game as Hofstra took down previously undefeated Florida Gulf Coast, 2-1. The Eagles’ lone run was unearned as Dandola allowed just three hits. The righty followed that performance with a relief appearance, tossing 1.2 innings to close out a thrilling, 10-inning 1-0 shutout of then-No.13 Florida State. She also fanned four batters, giving up just four hits and one run in a tight 2-1 11-inning loss with then-No. 6 Oregon on Saturday.
