Leading the Pirates to a 4-1 week, Barracato consistently made contact at the plate with a .500 batting average and eight hits over the weekend. The freshman regularly got herself in scoring position, hitting a trio of doubles and scoring a pair of runs. In a 2-0 shutout victory over Buffalo, Barracato got the Pirates on the board first in the opening inning, hitting a leadoff double before Payton Beaver’s single got the freshman across home plate.
