Desiderio becomes the second different Lion to earn NJAC Rookie of the Week honors after hitting .586 (17-for-29) with three doubles, two stolen bases, 10 RBI, and 13 runs scored during 10 spring trip games for the Lions. She hit safely in 8-of-10 contests played and produced six multiple-hit games, including a 3-for-3 performance with a double, three RBI, and two runs scored in a 15-2 win over Keene State. Three days later, she went 2-for-3 with a stolen base, three RBI, and a run scored during a 14-2 win over Farmingdale State. Desiderio currently ranks tied for second in the NJAC in runs scored (13).
