| Game Notes: The team was fortunate to not have Natasha in foul trouble in this one because the team definitely needed her experience out there against the 2A defending champs. Alexa didn't suit up and Megan was gutting out her leg injury for her team. Once again the Rockets played everyone equal time and they did very well. Lindsey probably played her best game as a Rocket picking up a steal, a foul, a good trap and a backdoor basket all on the same shift! it was a good one for sure. Seven Rockets were able to get on the sheet (out of 12) in this one and it was exciting, to say the least, to see the grade 9s have some success against a strong team. Kudos go to Megan for toughing out a sore leg and helping out her team when they really needed her and to Natasha who got better at rebounding all weekend and became a presence in the key by finishing at a much better rate. | |||||
