Game Notes: When it mattered most, the Rockets came out and played as a team that wants to play for each other. They came in with a game plan and executed it perfectly. The Rockets took an early first quarter lead of 21-12 and never looked back. The scoring came from everywhere as Alexa got two offensive rebound putbacks and a three, Sierra kicked in two three's of her own and then the Rockets decided to break out the horses and run, and run they did as key transition buckets were put in by Sheridan on some great passes by Kacey and Megan. From start to finish the Rockets played great and their defense was gelling, creating turnover after turnover which resulted in breakaway mismatches that they converted. Kamsack had a couple of mini-runs to pull with twelve and fourteen after the Rockets led by 23, but the defense stepped up again and shut that stuff down. The Rockets are now Hoopla bound for the first time since 1973! Well done team!
