| Game Notes: The Rockets came out in a defense they had not even talked about this year much less practiced - the trainable and two. Amy and Bailey, along with Sierra and Megan, had the task of holding the top two scorers from Caronport down and they as a group held them to a combined sixteen points. The first quarter was a great quarter of basketball and the Rockets were trailing the strong Cougar squad by only three after one. The Rockets did sprinkle some man defense in their, but the Cougars transition was too strong and the Rockets did a poor job of controlling the glass and allowed the Cougars to pull away in the second. Kudos to Bailey in this one as she played some of the best on the ball/ball screen defense ever displayed in a Rocket uniform. | |||||
