**ANNOUNCEMENT - 2009 SENIOR MEN'S AAA PROVINCIALS AUGUST 3TH - 9TH**

**The 2009 Senior Mens AAA Provincials will now be taking place from Aug 3 to Aug 9. The games from Aug 3 to Aug 6 will be taking place at various locations around the province. All games Aug 7 to Aug 9 will be played at Great Chief Park in Red Deer** Click on the link to see the provincial schedule " 2009 Senior Men's AAA" (click here)

The 2009 Senior Men's AAA Provincial Championship will be hosted by the Red Deer Riggers this year.

July 31, 2009 - Updates

The Fort Saskatchewan Athletics defeated the Edmonton Angels last night 12 - 2 at the Legion Diamond in Fort Saskatchewan. 

The Athletics will host the Tigers in the North Final, game date and time is TBD. Game will most likely be played the week of Aug 10 - 14.

July 30, 2009 - Updates

The St. Albert Tigers edged out the St. Albert Tabbies last night 2 - 1 at Legion Memorial Diamond. The Tigers will now play the winner of the Athletics and Angels game in the North Final.

The Edmonton Angels are visiting the Fort Saskatchewan Athletics tonight in the other North Semi Final game. Game time is 7:00pm at the Legion Diamond in Fort Saskatchewan.

July 29, 2009 - Updates

Tonight Sunburst League North Semi Final game will be in St. Albert starting at 7:30pm. The Tabbies and Tigers will be playing at Legion Memorial Diamond. The winner will play either the Angels or Athletics in the North Final, date/time TBD.

July 28, 2009 - Updates

The Edmonton Angels defeated the Edmonton Rockies 10 - 2 last night at John Fry Park. With the win the Angels now advance to the North Semi Final against the Fort Saskatchewan Athletics. That game will be played Thursday July 30 in Fort Saskatchewan starting at 7:00pm.

July 27, 2009 - Updates

The Sunburt League regular season has come to a close. Check out the "2009 League" in the Standings page(click here) to see each divisions rankings.

A League Championship Schedule has been put together. Check out the Schedule Page(click here) for game times and locations, the page will be updated frequently.

The first game of the Sunburst League Championships goes tonight at 7:00pm. The Edmonton Angels are hosting the Edmonton Rockies at John Fry Park.

Next game is Wednesday in St. Albert. The Tigers and Tabbies play at Legion Memorial Diamond starting at 7:30pm.

July 10, 2009 - Updates

The next Sunburst League game is tonight as the Fort Saskatchewan Athletics are visiting the Edmonton Rockies. Game time is 7:00pm at John Fry Park.

July 8, 2009 - Updates

The Calgary Redbirds vs the Red Deer Riggers game was rained out last night at Great Chief Park. They completed half an inning and then the rain came. The game will try to be re-scheduled.

The next Sunburst League game is tonight at 7:00pm. The Edmonton Angels are hosting the Red Deer Riggers at John Fry Park.

The St. Albert Tiger at Fort Saskatchewan Athletics game has been cancelled for tonight. The field in the Fort is completely under water.

July 7, 2009 - Updates

The St. Albert Tabbies won last night game against the Edmonton Rockies 15-1 at the South Jasper Place - Midget Diamond.

There is one Sunburst League game schedule for tonight. The Red Deer Riggers are hosting the Calgary Redbirds at Great Chief Park. Game time is 7:30pm. We shall see if the game will be played due to the weather conditions!!

July 6, 2009 - Updates

The St. Albert Tigers and the Calgary Redbirds split the double header on Saturday at Inland Park in Calgary. The Tigers won the first game 7-2 and the Redbirds scored 4 runs in the bottom of the 7th inning to win the second game 6-5.

The next Sunburst League game is tonight at 7:00pm. The Edmonton Rockies are hosting the St. Albert Tabbies at the South Jasper Place - Midget Diamond.

July 3, 2009 - Updates

The St. Albert Tabbies lost a close game last night 4-3 against the Fort Saskatchewan Athletics. The Athletics scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 9th inning to edge out the Tabbies.

The next Sunburst League game is a Double Header on Saturday July 4 in Calgary. The Calgary Redbirds are hosting the St. Albert Tigers at Inland Park. The first game will start at 1:00pm.

June 24, 2009 - Updates

In last nights Sunburst League games, the St. Albert Tabbies edged out the Edmonton Angels by a score of 4-2 at John Fry Park. The Red Deer Stags defeated the Edmonton Rockies 9-2 at Goldstick Park.

The next Sunburst league game is tomorrow June 25. The Red Deer Stags are hosting the Red Deer Riggers at Great Chief Park. Game time is 7:30pm.

June 23, 2009 - Updates

There are two Sunburst League games scheduled for tonight. The Edmonton Angels are hosting the St. Albert Tabbies at John Fry Park, game time is 7:00pm. Also the Red Deer Stags are visiting the Edmonton Rockies at Goldstick Park, game time is 7:00pm.

The St. Albert Tigers vs Fort Saskatchewan Athletics game for tonight has been postponed and will be re-schedule to a date in July TBD.

June 01, 2009 -Updates

• The Sunburst League had a bunch of games this past weekend.
  • May 30 the Calgary Redbirds hosted the Edmonton Rockies at Burns Stadium in a double header. The Redbirds were victorious both games. Also May 31 the Calgary Rebirds hosted the Edmonton Angels at Burns Stadium in a double header. The Redbirds came out winners in both games. Check out the schedule page for game scores!

May 29, 2009 -Updates

• The Red Deer Riggers were victorious Thursday night at Burns Stadium 6-4 against the Calgary Redbirds.
• The St. Albert Tigers defeated the Red Deer Stags at Great Chief park 7-5.
• The Sunburst Leagues next game is Friday night in St. Albert. The St. Albert Tigers are hosting the St. Albert Tabbies at Legion Memorial Park, game time is 7:30pm.

• Thrusday morning May 28, 2009 Jordan Cleland announced his retirement from the Red Deer Stag. The Sunburst League will never be the same!! All the best to Jordan in the future.

• The St. Albert Tabbies vs Edmonton Rockies game on May 27 was cancelled due to Goldstick Park being double booked. The game will be scheduled to another date.

• The Sunburst Leagues next game is tonight at Goldstick Park. The Edmonton Rockies will be hosting the St. Albert Tabbies at 7:00pm.

• The St. Albert Tigers vs Edmonton Angels game on Tuesday May 26 has been cancelled and will be scheduled to a later date. The City of Edmonton has informed the Edmonton Angels they are unable to use John Fry Park that day.
