Burnaby Bulldogs To Go College Summer League Route In 2008

March 12, 2008

The Burnaby Bulldogs Baseball Club announced today that it will no longer operate a Junior Team as it has for the last 15 plus years.

As the baseball scene is shifting and the Junior Baseball Associaton of BC is no longer operating as a Province Wide league, it is time for the program to adapt to ensure we are able to continue to serve the baseball community in Burnaby.

Starting this June (2008), the Burnaby Collegiate Bulldogs will begin play as an independant team playing an agressive exhibition schedule against teams from the Pacific Metro Baseball League (Senior Men's), Pacific International League (Summer College) and the remaining teams from the Junior Baseball Association of BC.

The 2008 Collegiate Bulldogs will also attend the 2008 JBABC Provincial Championships in Kamloops in early August.

For further information on this program, please visit the Collegiate Bulldogs webpage or contact General Manager David Laing through the contact tab on the left.
