On Tuesday, February 7^th, the Cinco Ranch High School boys’ basketball program will be retiring Chris Saiz’s jersey (#23).   The ceremony is scheduled to take place at halftime of the Cinco Ranch vs. Katy game which tips off at 7:00 pm. The evening is also designated as Parents Night.  The recognition of the Parents will take place before the Varsity game.  The Saiz family and the Cinco Ranch Athletic Program would be very pleased to have you join us in celebrating this commemorative event.

The Cinco Ranch Basketball Program and the Katy community is mourning the loss of a dear teammate and friend. 

Christopher Rey Saiz 16, passed away December 20, 2011.  It is with the upmost sorrow and regret that we announce the death of Christopher "C-Rey" Saiz.  Chris wore many hats throughout his life:  ones of a son, brother, grandson, nephew, friend, teammate, and role model.  He wore them beautifully.  Chris had a drive to push himself to be his best, and whether it was on the court, in the classroom, or in life itself Chris' actions always glowed with personal pride.  No one could take that from him.  In addition to all of Chris' determination and doggedness, he always took time to share a good laugh with his friends.  Chris' departure was sudden and unexpected, but his accomplishments and relationships with the people who loved him most could fill volumes.  We miss you Chris, and will always carry a piece of you.  Your spirit will live on in all of us forever.
