2008-2009 WINTER PROGRAM

The Abbotsford Cardinal Baseball Club is pleased to announce our 2008-2009 Winter Program.The Cardinals will be weight training at the new Abbotsford Recreation 10,000 square foot facility from November to February. The supervised sessions will run on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Those players wishing to use alternate facilities will be tested monthly to track their progress.Indoor training and conditioning will start the first 2 weeks of December and continue in January until March at the Matsqui Recreation Facilities. Player Promotional Program

The Cardinals are excited to announce that, starting this year, we will have the ability to actively promote our players to NCAA, NAIA and Junior colleges in the US. We have brought on the services of a promotional team that has had great success in promoting Canadian baseball players to US colleges. The program involves working with the coaches and team on a plan to successfully launch the player into the US baseball college system. It includes video, consultation and direct one-on-one marketing to 100’s of US schools, tailored to the player’s academic and skill level. This promotional program is optional and is not included in registration fees.

Florida Spring Training 2009

THE ABBOTSFORD CARDINALS WILL BE HEADING TO COCO BEACH FLORIDA NEXT SPRING FOR A SERIES OF GAMES AGAINST THE LES AILES ACADEMY OF QUEBEC, ONTARIO BLUEJAYS, AND ONTARIO METS. WE WILL ALSO PLAY IN A TOURNAMENT DURING OUR NINE DAY STAY...MORE INFORMATION TO FOLLOW.
