Jefferson Davis High School is a public high school located in central Montgomery, Alabama at 3420 Carter Hill Road, with grades 9 through 12. Jeff Davis' main building was orginally built in the late 1960's and the addition was built in the early 1970's.

The current principal is Ms. Cheryl Fountain.  Student enrollment for 2010-11 was approximately, 2391 students. The current Head Football Coach is Vincent Wiggins.

The mission of Jefferson Davis High School is

1) to motivate students to acquire the knowledge and to develop the attitudes and skills necessary to become productive adults

2) to help students develop character and to become self-motivated individuals who possess and enthusiasm for life and learning

3) to help students develop the skills necessary for effective communication in today's world

4) to help students understand the democratic process and become involved citizens who have an impact on their society
