We have kids from all over this year! There are many new friends to be had! Lets make this an enjoyable post-season and build some momentum for the states!

DISTRICT 1 Tourny:

6/26/08 - GAME 1 VS. Williamstown...LOSS 9-4.... Our first "real game"...We showed a little rustiness and some work is needed, but the boys hung tough! Good Job James...our first game MVP had 2 good hits (out of our 4 hits total). Other than our first and last innings we played them pretty competitively (3 run 1st and 4 run last). HANG TOUGH GUYS...it will come together!

6/27/08 - GAME 2 vs. Williamstown...LOSS 9-4...despite the score, we showed A LOT of improvement! We out hit them 10-9, but unfortunately we had 3 errors to their 0, as well as some base running bumps in the road. This easily could have been 7-7 into extra innings, or even an outright win! Good Job to Dom...2 for 2 and game MVP (Dom went 3 for 3 in the series)! Lets work on the basics and we'll surprise some folks come states!


7/2/08 - Lee vs Lenox scrimage - Great job guys! We tried a lot of new spots for some folks and everyone played well...A couple things to work on though, we came out with lots of energy, but we fell a little flat in the second half of the game...lets keep up the intensity guys! Remember...cheer on your team mates, it DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE!


7/6/08 - Lee vs Sports Camp - 15-0 - WOW! the bats came alive when we scrimmaged the 11 yr old boys from the camp. Everyone reached base during this game, with 9 out of 10 getting at least 1 hit! Great job guys! We played great in the field and pitching was solid! Let's keep this focus going!
