Montgomery Dream Defeated by Columbus Lady Wings Again...90 to 85

            COLUMBUS, GA, June 23, 2012:  The Columbus Lady Wings defeats Montgomery with a 90 point victory.  This Lady Wings are undefeated this season with a 5 and 0 record.  Saturday's upset against Montgomery Dream lands the Lady Wings in the #1 spot in the entire Women's Blue Chip Basketball League (WBCBL).  Coach Herbert Montgomery is responsible for leading the team to five straight victories. 

            Brittaney Thomas led the Lady Wings to victory with 26 points.  Monica Sicka scored 18, Shanika Carter 13, Zipporah Horton 12, and Mukia Myrick scored 9 points.

            The Columbus Lady Wings will take on Douglasville Lady Mustangs on Saturday, June 30, 4:00 PM at Northside High School Gym.  Regular tickets are $8.00, discount tickets are $7.00 for military, students, Muscogee County School District Employees, and Senior Citizens 60 and up with proper ID.  Children 5 and under are admitted FREE.  Group tickets are also available and can be purchased at Chalmers Support Services located at 3907 Macon Road, Suite B.
