| Posted Mar 18/12 - Titans learn from Opening Day loss |
| The Titans faced the defending League Champion's "The Caribenos" aka Team Cuba in there opening spring season game sunday and held there own for the first part of the game. The game was tied 3-3 after 4 innings. But the bats and gloves just were not there for The Sin City Titan's this day. Chris Gschwender pitched well though 5 innings giving up 6 runs, only 2 of the runs earned. He also had a good day at the plate with a single, double, and walk. Jason Walker had two hits and two rbi's. Sam Tofte and Jarion White also contributed with two hits each of their own. And not to be denied, Tom Pulcini picked up a hit of his own. Overall the Titans proved to themselves that they can hang in this more competitive and better league/division with any team out there.. Titans look to shake off the loss with next week off, and the following week take there frustration out on the Rockies. |
