Capital City rebounded from their bad showing with an explosion on offense to win the AA bracket in the MLK Tournament.

Cap City started the day against the Gorillas BBC; Jared Bell set the tone on the mound, striking out 9 in the complete game performance. Multiple hits from Trent Werner, Tucker Hamilton, and Travis Sanders set the tone on offense. 10-1 was the final score (6 innings).

The second game of the day (and the AA championship) was against the Dodger Rookies from LA. The Black Sox started right where they left off, scoring 21 runs over four innings. Christian Martinek also struck out 8 of the 9 batters that he faced.

Capital City's next appearance is in Sunnyvale California at the "Frost Bowl".
