The Saskatoon Cardinals could not muster any offence as they fell 5-0 Saturday evening to the St. Albert Cardinals. Bryden Gore got the only hit for Saskatoon as the Cards could not figure out how to get on base against St. Albert. Nolan Machibroda pitched 4 and 2/3 for the Cardinals before handing the ball to Graham Forrester. Ryan Crilly came in to pitch the last out for the Red Birds. “St. Albert is a very good team” stated Coach Ray Machibroda. “They are currently 3rd in the Alberta AAA league and we hung with them for most of the game” Machibroda said. The Cards, who are guaranteed one more game this weekend, have to wait it out to find who they play tomorrow.
