Once again, the Cardinal bats were silent and their defence suspect as they were hammered 12-1 by the hometown Muenster Red Socks. The only highlights for the Cardinals were the strong pitching performances by Ethan Meyer and R J Vinding. Myers went 4 and 2/3 innings while Vinding took over to finish the game pitching a solid 2 and 1/3 innings with several Ks.
The Cardinals defence was again suspect committing 5 errors. The Cardinals only hit came off the bat of Garrett Krawchuk in the first inning. Cardinals catcher Ryan Crilly left the game early after taking a pitch to the hand.
