| Current NMB Chiefs player Lukas Ray had a great weekend at the 2009 Top Gun Sports Winter World Series held in Concord, N.C. this past weekend. His travel team went 4-0 winning the tournament. Lukas pitched 5 innings on Saturday striking out 12 of the 15 batters he faced. He allowed 1 hit and gave up 2 walks during the game which the won in 5 innings by the mercy rule. Lukas caught the remaining 3 games of the tournament throwing out all 3 stolen base attempts to second base. At the plate, Lukas went 8 for 11 with 2 doubles and 4 walks on the weekend. He also stole 2 bases. |
