An impressive two-way performance from Codi Carpenter led the Bulldogs to a 2-1 victory over Tomball Memorial as Carpenter came up huge at the plate an on the rubber.

Carpenter got on base three times in the game for the Bullodogs. She singled in the fourth inning.

Carpenter was a workhorse in the circle allowing one run, four hits and no walks while striking out four over seven innings.

A sixth inning rally gave the BUlldogs the lead for good. Taylar Fuselier had a RBI single to score Madisson Moynahan who was walked and sacrified to second base by a bunt by Ashley Pombeouf. Hailey Garza then scored on a pass ball after getting on base with a FC.

Adding hits were Ashley Poinbeouf and Kaitlyn Pyburn.
