| Posted Jan 4/10 - Add 3 More Players To The 100 HR Club |
This year we should witness 3 more players reach the 100th homerun milestone. Brian Eifert has 98, Joey Kelly has 81, and Adam Dishert has 83. Each player is very capable of reaching 100 espeacially Brian as he only needs 2 to get there. Other players like Kelly and Dischert will have to push harder. Both players had very strong seasons last year but with the fences moving back this could be a huge factor. They may have to play another full season to get there. Zach Gould did it last year making him the 3rd player to do it and Eddie Eifert reached it in 08. Brian Romani reached it in 07. But if Joey Kelly reaches it this year he will the fastest player to do it in history. All the other members who have done it all played more than 5 years. This will be Kellys 4th year in the league. Dischert has played 7 along with Brian Eifert. As mentioned earlier the fences will play a factor for everything in hitting but homeruns may be a rare sight from certain players and numbers will drop. But these players are so close that could end up not bothering them at all. |
