Taylor County waited too late to mount a comeback on Tuesday night, as they fell to the home-standing Washington County Commanders 54-49.

The Commanders used a balanced scoring attack having three players in double figures.

The Cardinals were led by Tevin Webster who had 25 points and 6 rebounds.  Matt Chewning added 9 points and Chase Seaborne had 6.

The Cardinals play at Elizabethtown on Friday night at 6 PM.
