THE NABA LEAGUE IS:

PERSEVERANCE

Steadfastness in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success.

Taking over this league 3 years ago when it was at its lowest was a great challenge.  Surrounding yourself with individuals that also felt this league was worth fighting for has made these challenges more bearable.  Thank you to all the teams, players, managers and fans who continue to support NABA as we build our relationships with the City of Las Vegas, the County of Las Vegas, North Las Vegas and the City of Henderson.  A special thanks to our high school supporters Chaparral HS and Canyon Springs HS who see some value in our contribution to their program.  If it wasn't for them taking a chance on us, our league may not have happened.

Good Luck in the playoffs.  It starts this Sunday 9/13/2015

The 2014 All Star Game & Homerun Derby was a huge hit with lots of homeruns, great burgers and dogs, music, and excellent weather. We had a total of 17 participants from all different team's who all swung for the fences. The winner this year was Sin City Tians Jason Fronczak as he took home the cash of $170.

The all star game was between Team 1 (Sin City Titans, LV Heat) Vs. Team 2 (Orioles, Angels, LV Titans, LV Marauders). The Sin City Titans proved they were themselves the all star team as they sent 7 reps and their head coach. Team 1 won the game for bragging rights.

Posted May 6/14 - End of 2014 First Half (Spring)

What a successful first half. We saw all sorts of good things from every team this half.  We saw new additions (SC Titans and Scorpions) battle in royal fashion twice! We saw new teams like the Angels and the Heat put on impressive shows with talent and the Long Ball!  We saw the Marauders and the Orioles have a hard-fought first half where the wins were sweet.  We saw the Las Vegas Titans emerge as a power-broker and the Bulls find ways to win even while rebuilding.  I was very impressed by our first half play and I hope you all congratulate your players on a job well done.

Panamint Division 1st Half

Sin City Titans took first place with a 10-2 record proving that they are the team to beat. They out scored other teams by putting up 111 runs and only allowing 35 in 12 games. They showed their domminant pitching as well as powerful bats. Not only did they show off the power, they showed their speed as well stealing over 50 bags this season. They have been quoted "We are hungry for a NABA championship, and to prove we are the best."

Neveda State Scorpions took 2nd place with 8 wins, 3 losses, and 1 tie. They showed how strong their youth can be when they have a full squad out. They showed that they can compete and even beat the SC Titans but the key for them is will they all show? Will they have all of their talents on the field at all times. Will they compete the second half? We will see.

Las Vegas Titans took third place with 7 wins, 3 losses, and 2 tie's. They have proved now that they can beat and play with almost everyone. Bottom line for them will be is if they can beat the other Titan team who has proven that they have their number.

Las Vegas Bulls took fourth place with 3 wins and 9 losses. Clearly rebuilding the team and trying to be competitive again with the big boy's. They will try to show that age and experience can still compete with the young guns. Looking forward to seeing what they can put together for the second half stretch.

Panamint Division 1st Half

Neveda Angels took first place with 8 wins and 4 losses. They proved this half that they can handle the low division and can compete with the upper division. They out scored opponents by putting up 90 runs and only allowing 80. Will they keep getting better and show they are ready to play up or will they continue to dominate the Panamint Division.

LV Heat took second place with 4 wins and 8 losses. Still building their team and looking to just fill 9 guys out Sundays has been their main objective and finsihing second place is not to upsetting for them as their record.

LV Marauders took third place with 3 wins, 8 losses, and 1 tie. Seemed like an upsetting season for these guys as even some of the upper division teams thought that this team would be one of the better. Still getting better and looking forward to the second half and what they can turn around will be the LV Marauders. They did prove that they will look good with their stunning uniforms on the field.

LV Orioles took fourth place with 3 wins and 9 losses. They proved this half that they can win and will win with 3 wins but will they be able to put together streaks of wins.
