Posted Nov 18/09 - Money owed/pay outs
Any outstanding money that is owed to the pool is due this Sunday (Nov. 22). Even if you think you may win the $50 for the race, or even get drawn for the $100, money must be in our hands before the race starts.
Posted Nov 2/09 - Money owed and payouts
Money Owed -- Any outstanding money that is owed to the pool, should be handed in before Race 35 (Nov. 15), if possible. If there is a problem in doing so, please talk to Harvey.
Posted Oct 25/09 - Drivers' groups
Just to remind people who are having problems when making their picks: if the groups are not updated on this website, there is a note at the bottom of the groups page to check with NASCAR.com, because we go by the standings on that website. Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee the groups will be updated here every week, but can guarantee that NASCAR.com will have updated standings. In future, we may decide to take the groups page off this website. Any problems with that? Let me know.
Posted Oct 17/09 - Calling in picks...
This week, five people did not call in their picks. Because it is so late in the season, these teams will have to take 150 points this week. We've discussed this and think that since we've already had 30 races this season, if you forget to call your picks in, that shouldn't be our problem to fix.
Posted Sep 11/09 - 2010 Nascar Season
Please let us know of your interest to continue being part of Harvey's Nascar Pool. Information can be found by clicking on 'Register', beginning Dec. 1 and running till Jan. 31.
Posted Aug 2/09 - Money owed
We are now more than halfway through the season, at race 21. Everyone should be paid up to at least $100 (20 races) by now. This Nascar pool is a lot of fun to watch and keep track of throughout the year, but when we have to come looking for money, it's just not cool. Step up and pay up! You never know who's going to win the big bucks at the end of the year!
