| The Girls are hard at work during the off season, getting ready for High School tryouts and the start of our travel season. The training is held at George Mason High School fron 9:00 - 11:45 every Sunday until the High School season starts on February 22nd. Keep up the good work Ladies! |

| The Firebirds finished out the Fall season by taking the Championship in the Loudoun Lowdown earning a berth in Softball Nations 2010 Nationals. The girls came out on FIRE Sunday and really showed what they are made of. Great pitching and hitting were the key as we ended up with 4 wins and 2 losses for the weekend on our way to the Championship! |

| Renowned Hitting Guru, Coach Nemo came into town to hold an intensive 2 day hitting clinic for the Firebird Teams. The clinic was held on September 26th and 27th at George Mason High School and included some great drills and lots of swings! Coach Nemp provided hands on instruction for the girls and the girls came out of the training ready to attack the ball! Thanks Coach Nemo!!!! |

The Firebirds won the Loudoun Fall Open which was the first tournament that we entered in the Fall and earned a berth to the NSA Nationals. The 'Birds fought hard, hit the ball, played great defense and had shutdown pitching the entire weekend. Great Job Firebirds!! |
