Game Notes: Section/CRVL game. Bluejays face Wildcat ace Tony Kley. It was a good pitched game by both teams, despite each team having 11 hits. 2-2 in 7th and a big 2 out hit put the cats ahead. In the 8th a mental error on cause the Bluejays 5 runs and the game was out of reach. It was a nice win for Winsted who is now in 1st place in Section 8. Smothers pitched a great game but another late inn colapse cost the Bluejays. Jonhson led the offense with 3 hits. The offense looked a bit better, still down a couple starters.
