Game Notes: The D/C Saints put up a 6 spot in the 7th to get their 1st win over the Bluejays since Plato joined the section. The Bluejays were held to just 3 hits, (really 3 hits!) 5th inn scoring Boomer leads off with a grounder down 3rd base line ruled E5, Tony flys out, Dean roped a ball to right, the right fielder tracked it down but dropped it, ruled E7, 1st & 3rd. Smothers singles in Boomer 1-0. Johnson hits a infield single. KP grounds into the pitcher, to home to 1st double play. Tony got the start on the hill and was cruising along, retirering 15 of 16 hitters in a period from 1st inn to 7th inn. The 7th is where things got away from the Bluejays, a double to lead off inn, then single 1-1 the on a 0-2 pitch a 2 run homer, was the big blow. The Saints would tack on 3 more and 1 more in 8th to win this one 7-1.
