Game Notes: The Battle of the Birds!! Chris Odegaard made his Bluejay pitching debut a good one. He went 7 inn, 0 runs, and striking out 13. This was a pitching duel and runs were hard to come by. 0-0 in the 8th Johnson got thrown out at home, 2 outs. Donahue stole 2nd, and Eric drove him in for a 1-0 lead. Enter Matt Odegaard on the hill, he had a mow'em down 8th inn. The Hawks scrathed a run across in the 9th thanks to a Bluejay error. Then in the 11th when EE started the inn with a single, we moved pinch runner Dittmer around to 3rd. With 2 outs Chris Ode came up, hit a chopper and beat the throw to put Plato up 2-1.
