Game Notes: The Bluejays pull out a wild game in front of their home fans! Plato got on the board 1st with Boomer driving in Donahue. In the 5th a throwing error gave the Indians 2 runs. The 7th was more throwing errors and the Indians tack on another. Trailing 3-1 in the 9th, Boomer led off with a single, followed by an ODE single, then 2 quick Bluejay outs left it up to Smothers. With 2 strikes, he hit a towering fly ball to center, and it looks like the fielder had set up camp, but the ball kept carrying over his head and both base runners scored. Then Donahue laced a 3-1 fastball to left to drive in Benny for the Bluejays 4-3 win! Tellers pitched a good 7 inns, giving up 3 unearned runs, while striking out 8. ODE finished the last 2 for the win.
