In the event of rain-outs complete games will be 5 innings 35+ and 4 innings in 45+.(note in the event of severe rains all or remaining games may be shortened to allow completion, at committee discretion.)

2.     A mercy rule is in effect:  8 or more runs after the fifth inning.

3.     A 6 run limit is set for each inning except the seventh or an extra inning.  More than 6 runs may result from the last batter's hit.  A touch of home plate or an out at any base terminates the scoring.

4.     A player may play for only one team during the tournament.  Each team is to submit a roster of up to 21 players to the tournament chairman by the fee date prior to the tournament date.

5.     Pitchers may pitch up to 12 consecutive outs only(35+ division)and 9 consecutive outs only(45+ division).  A pitcher cannot re-enter the game as a pitcher once removed.

6.     Plastic spikes are encouraged.

7.     The batting line-up will consist of a minimum of 11 batters to a maximum of 18 or all members of the declared roster if less than 11. If only 10 batters bat, an automatic first out will be declared in the 3rd and 6th innings; if only 9 batters bat, an automatic first out will be declared in the 2nd, 4th and 6th innings. Only those players listed in the batting line-up for each game may be used defensively. Defensive changes are unlimited provided that the players appear in the batting line-up. These changes do not affect the batting order. Any player, not present for his plate appearance will be declared out.  A substitution to the batting order may be made. Once a player is removed from the batting order, he may not return to the game in any playing capacity.  All possible participants for a game should be listed as extras on the line-up card.

In the event of injury or illness which causes a player to leave the game, the umpire is to be notified and the player's position in the batting line-up shall be voided with no out charged provided that 11 players are still in the line-up. If the line-up drops below 11 players, then paragraph one will be in effect.

8.     A courtesy runner for batters who cannot run but will still be batting, must have to hit safely first before the courtesy runner is allowed. The batter involved will have to be noted to the umps and opposition coaches prior to the start of the game (for prior injuries) or after they occur for new injuries. Indiscriminate runner changes will not be allowed. The only runner allowed for the injured batter will be the last out.

9.     Nine defensive players are to be on the field at one time.

10.  The batter and base runners must wear protective headgear. Helmets with ear flaps are strongly recommended. Catchers should also wear appropriate head protection.  Refusal to wear appropriate headgear will result in the player being called out.
