Mustangs defeat the dodgers in the semi-final game and advance to their second straight championship game.

6-21-09 - Mustangs vs Showboats - (W)
A real pitchers' duel until the Showboats went to their bullpen. The Mustangs would score 7 runs in the lucky 7th and go on to victory, 7-0.

6-14-09 - Mustangs at Dodgers - (W)
Mustangs grind out the win and prove that they can play small ball and manufacture runs when needed before Jeff Brignola hit a 3-run Blast to cap off the victory. Final score was 7-5, Mustangs come out on top.

5-31-09 - Mustangs vs Hawks - (W)
Dustin Hobbs (1-0) makes his Mustang debut on the mound pitching a complete game one hitter with 9 K's in a 15-0 mercying in 5 innings. Josh Meents finally came to life with 2 homeruns, one of them being a grand slam that ended the game. The defense was perfect committing no errors in the game. The Mustangs have really come together the last couple weeks and look better than ever.

5-17-09 - Mustangs at Boulder Dodgers - (W)
Keoki Wright (3-0) got the win for the Mustangs pitching 6 innings while Justin Spurrier came out of the pen for 2 shutout innings. The bats have really come around as of late. Mustangs have now won 8 games in a row, the final score was 11-3.


5-3-09 - Mustangs vs Stars - (W)
Joe Finateri leads the Mustangs to victory finishing a double shy of the cycle. Justin Spurrier (6-0) pitched a complete game giving up 3 runs but none of them were earned. The offense came around in the middle innings to put some big runs on the board. The final score was 13-3. The Mustangs are now in sole possession of first place with 5 games remaining.

4-26-09 - Mustangs at Spartans - (W)
Mustangs stayed hot by defeating the spartans by a final score of 12-2. Justin Spurrier (5-0) pitched 4 innings earning the win while Jordan Judd, Josh Meents, and CJ Najera pitched scoreless innings coming out of the pen. The defense continued to make plays while the offense is starting to get on track.

4-19-09 - Mustangs at Showboats - (W)
Bottom of the lineup produces while Jeff Brignola stays hot. Spurrier (4-0) got the win on the mound as Mustangs roll to their 5th straight win.

4-5-09 - Mustangs at LV Dodgers - (W)
Mustangs won their 4th game in a row defeating the LV Dodgers by a final score of 7-3. Justin Spurrier (3-0) got the win hurling for the Mustangs while Randin Roundy ( 2 scoreless innings) and Josh Meents ( 1 inning, 2 K's) made their debuts on the mound. Jeff Brignola really seems to be taking a liking to his new spot in the batting order as he has been hot as of late. Tommy Caramela has had the stroke going as well with a big time double that made him the Mustang RBI leader through 6 games.

3-29-09 - Mustangs vs Raptors - (W)
Mustangs win their third game in a row defeating the Raptors by a final score of 9-2. The bats finally came around in this game with some timely hitting, while the pitching was superb and the defense stellar. Total team effort as we finally had the whole squad out there for the first time this season. Keoki Wright (2-0) got the win on the mound throwing a no-hitter in 5 innings of work. Jose Barajas was lights out coming out of the pen with 2 perfect innings of work. The pitching has definitely been the strong point of the Mustangs team so far this season.

3-22-09 - Mustangs at Hawks - (W)
Mustangs give the Hawks their first loss in their franchises history making this a historic win. The final score was 8-4, Both teams are now tied for first place at (3-1) along with the Stars at this point in the season. Justin Spurrier (2-0) got the win, he pitched 7 strong innings alowing 3 earned runs while striking out 15. Mustangs' bats showed signs of life but are still working out the kinks. Speed can never slump though as the Mustangs showed off a little greasy fast italian speed on the base paths. Jose Barajas made his debut pitching a scoreless 8th inning and Keoki Wright closed out the game with a scoreless 9th inning. In total, the Mustangs' pitchers struck out 20 Hawks' hitters.

3-15-2009 - Boulder Dodgers at Mustangs - (W)
Mustangs get back on track and look to start a new winning streak with a solid win over the Boulder Dodgers by a final score of 12-2. Even though the Mustangs put up 12 runs, the offense still looked shaky at times. Justin Spurrier (1-0) pitched a complete game allowing 1 earned run.

3-8-2009 - Mustangs at Stars - (L)
Mustangs suffer rare loss as they get beat by a walk-off homerun. Mustangs remain rusty but should be able to shake off the rust here in the following weeks. Justin Spurrier got the start and went 6 innings allowing 2 earned runs. Keoki Wright came out of the pen, going 2 strong allowing no earned runs. CJ Najera(0-1) suffered the Loss. Mustangs' bats still in slumber. Final score was 5-4.

Mustangs come out opening day a little rusty but get the win none the less by a final score of 4-2. Keoki Wright (1-0) got the start on the mound and the win while Justin Spurrier got the save (1)
