The following were individual and team awards given to our players for their performances during the Spring 2008 High School softball season:

Chelsea Stryker '08 (SS)

•         Captain of the 2008 Kellenberg Memorial Varsity Firebirds       
•         broke the single season record for stolen bases for Kellenberg Memorial (CHSAA)
•         broke the single season record for hits for Kellenberg Memorial (CHSAA) 
•          Most Improved Award (although, she has always been the great player that KMHS benefitted from having at the top of their lineup this year)
•          Two year All-League SS for the CHSAA (2007 & 2008)
•          Chosen as "Best Female Athlete" in her senior class at Kellenberg (a class of over 500 and several strong female candidates)

Aja Alter '08 (P,3b,1b, C,......UTILITY!)

• 5 Time All County recipient
• broke 900 Strike Outs in her HS Career
• 6  Year varsity Player
• 2nd Team All Long Island player
• 18K's in one game
