Team Account

    - I need to collect the following from each player: $ 250.00 to start the team account (due now) and $ 185.00 for the Forest City Up-charge Fee (cheque can be postdated to Nov 1^st).

    - All cheques can be made payable to “SSE Wild 93”.

 

Financial Statement

    - I will provide everyone with a "Team Financial Statement" twice this season (before X-Mas & at the end of the season). If you ever would like a copy prior to me sending one out, please let me know.

 

Team Sponsorship

-       We are looking for team sponsorships. Please let me know if you require a sponsorship letter.

-       Sponsors will get a team picture on a plaque at the end of the season & also be listed on our website. It was discussed to look into a team banner. I would appreciate it if someone can look into a banner for us. Let me know if you are interested.

 

Fundraising

-       Thank you to Susan Rigby for accepting to take care of our “Fundraising” activities.

-       We will be doing a Beer for a year draw which Jim Halonen will take care of.

-       We will also be doing a Basket of Cheer which Jan Marie Geddes will take care of.

 

Team Sweaters

-       Thank you to the Geddes family for taking care of our home jerseys & the Halonen family for taking care of our away jerseys.

 

Drink Fund

-       We talked about our drink fund. Please let me know if you would like me to rotate a player every practice & game to bring the drinks or if someone would like to take care of bringing the drinks to each practice or game.

-       Last year we had a family take care of this and they would bring the drinks to every game & practice. Each player would be given 20 poker chips with their player #. The cost is $ 20.00 for 20 chips. The players will pay for their drinks by placing a poker chip in the drink cooler when they take a drink. Once the player is out of poker chips, he can re-purchase another 20 chips.

-       Again, let me know your thoughts on this.

 

Team Clothing

-       The team dress code will be shirt, tie, dark pants & casual shoes. No running shoes please.

-       We discussed about possible purchasing team jackets from Source for Sports. Let me know if this is something you are interest in & I can pick up examples & sizes from Source.

 

Practice / Game Schedule

-       Our game schedule is now posted (see the Schedule and Calender pages).

-       Moshe would like the players at the arena 1 hr prior to game time.

-       This year we will be playing 4 extra games against the following AA teams: Sarnia, St. Thomas, Woodstock & Stratford. These games will be played on weekends.

 

Picture Day

-       Picture Day will be on either Oct 25^th or 26^th

 

Contact Cards

-       Thank you to Barb Sonier for volunteering to make up our contact card for our team. These will be handed out as soon as they are ready.
