
Force Fall to 1-2 vs St. Louis Surge

The Iowa Force took on the St. Louis Surge Saturday in the third game of their 2016 inaugural season. The three‑time defending regional champion Surge defeated the Force 94‑72.
The Force came out strong in the 2 nd half as they have in every game, and outscored the Surge 42‑39 in the half. Charmaine Bell led the scoring for the Force in her third straight game, putting up 22 points and snagging 9 rebounds.
The Force added two new players to the roster this week. Annessa Rosch, a Guard from Southwest Minnesota State and Shronda Butts a Guard from Southern Illinois Edwardsville. Both contributed 7 points.
The next game for the Force is Saturday, May 28 th at the Kansas City Majestic at 7:00. The Force will look to advance their record to 2‑2 against a Majestic’s team that is also in their first season in the WBCBL. The Majestic currently have a record of 1‑2.
