2020 Awards

The SWBL has handed out it's annual awards. The three non-statistical awards were voted on by all teams in the league.
MVP - Ty Paddock (Oak River)
Make it back-to-back MVP awards for Paddock as he once again shone for the league champion Dodgers. Paddock led the league with a .578 AVG, while also finishing top-5 in hits, runs, walks, doubles, home runs, RBI, OB%, and SLUG%.
ROOKIE OF THE YEAR - Dawson Tweet - (Rivers Comets)
Tweet had an impressive rookie campaign, leading the Comets in hits, stolen bases, ABs, and runs scored, while helping the Comets secure the 3rd seed in the league.
MARK MINOR - MOST INSPIRATIONAL PLAYER - Jeff Knight (Hamiota)
A stalwart in the league for many years, Knight is recognized for his tireless efforts for the Hamiota Red Sox both on and off the field. Knight batted .400 this season, marking the second time in three years he attained that mark.
TOP PITCHER - (Best ERA minimum 15 innings pitched)
Winner - Scott Beever (Rivers) - 0.67 ERA
Runners Up: Noah Geekie (OR) 1.05, Jeff Peel (VDN) 2.41, Brady Waddell (HAM) 2.43.
BATTING CHAMPION - (Best Batting Average minimum 22 AB)
Winner - Ty Paddock (Oak RIver) - .578 AVG
Runners Up: Nolan Jago (RES) .548, Connor Geekie (OR) .533, Joben Smith (HAM) .515.
