On July 12, 2015, in a thrilling, come-from-behind 3-2 final win over the Kelowna "A"s, the Eagles won Baseball BC's provincial championship. This earned them a berth in Baseball Canada's national championship series on August 20-24, in Vaughan (near Toronto) Ontario, over 4,000 km away. Funds raised will cover flights, hotels, and vehicles.
It will take approximately $24K to send the 16 boys and 2 coaches across Canada to represent BC. So far, the boys and parents have worked on 50:50 sales, door-to-door donations and are searching for corporate sponsorships. But we will need much more to reach our goal. Your help in sending this team to Ontario will be greatly appreciated! $5, $10, $50, anything will help these young athletes achieve their goals and complete a winning season of over 60 games with a national championship.
Be a part of the successful Black Eagle 2015 season!
