(Win) Delta 1, Black Eagles 3

What a great sunny and clear Sunday morning to play baseball! The Black Eagles thought so too by charging out of the gates early in the first inning with a quick 2-0 lead on Andy Weir's line drive double to right field scoring Cole Mayhew and Nico Ingebrand. On the mound for the Eagles, Trey Sjerven and Jaden Wakeham kept the Delta boys off the bases, only reaching third base twice in the entire game! Unfortunately for the Eagles, Delta pitcher Cullen Jamieson had the same idea, striking out seven different Eagle batters for a total of 10 strikeouts. But our productive first inning was all the Eagles needed, adding another run in the sixth inning on Delta errors, to record our first win of the season!
