Freshman Brianna Morse of the Hofstra Softball team was voted the GoHofstra.com Student-Athlete of the Week via a fan-voted poll on the @HofstraPride Twitter page.

Morse tallied three hits on the week, going 3-for-6 in Hofstra's doubleheader sweep of Fairleigh Dickinson on May 9. Morse went 2-for-3 in game two of the doubleheader, recording three runs batted in, including a two-run home run to spark an eight-run rally for Hofstra. For her efforts, Morse was named the Colonial Athletic Association Rookie of the Week for the first time in her career.
