Indians STAYIN' ALIVE in Wild Card Tournament!
Posted July 9, 2016

After losing their first game 8 - 3 to the Cloverdale Spurs the Tri City Indians have managed to stave off elimination with back to back victories over the Victoria Red Eagles and the North Island Royals. The Indians working in conjunction with BC Ferries take full responsibility in making sure that the Eagles and Royals get back home in time for Sunday night dinner.
The Indians will be looking to stay alive a little bit longer when they play in their third consecutive elimination game Sunday morning at 10:00am at Bird Field and are looking forward to another opportunity to play the Cloverdale Spurs in a rematch. Both the Spurs and the Indians have one loss in the double knockout tournament and both squads know that there can only be one winner and the loser will be done for the season.
The Winner will move on to play the Chilliwack Cougars at 1:00pm at Bird Field and the winner of that game will advance as the second Wildcard Seed and join the first Wildcard seed Vancouver Minor in Nanaimo at the Provincials.
