ST. ANDREWS WINS WINNIPEG WEST LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP!!!
Under stormy and sometimes forboding skies, St. Andrews defeated Charleswood 4-3 to win the Winnipeg West League Championship. St. Andrews went through the St. James/North Winnipeg Play-off unbeaten, then claimed the title in Tuesday's game. Charleswood won the Winnipeg South play-off, defeating Macdonald 8-6 on Monday night to qualify for the final.
