Director McClelland

Our History

The Wisconsin Warriors was established in 2007 by Jason McClelland, formerly of the Wisconsin Wizards. The Warriors began with two teams and continues to grow. Since the inception of the organization, the Warriors have won many tournaments, league titles and have quickly become one of the best AAU organizations in Milwaukee and surrounding areas. Your child will receive quality coaching from coaches who care about them as well as winning.

Why Choose the Warriors organization

As an organization we know that only 3% of boys will continue on to play college basketball. While our hope is that your son will be one of the 3%, it is more likely that your son will not. We want to help your son be a great ball player, but more than that, we would also like to play a part in helping him become a man. You will find that our teams are like families and we encourage our boys to not only hang out together at basketball related functions, we also like for them to hang out with each other off the court.
We expect our coaches to represent our organization and your family with the utmost respect. We also expect our coaches to be positive examples of what a man should be.
With God as our advisor we will try our best to represent Him and you the best we can.

FAQS

What age boys are you looking for?

We are presently looking for boys to play: 5th—12th Grade

How Long Is The AAU Season?

Our practices begin in February. The Spring season, both league and tournament play, is from March—June. There is also a summer league that lasts from July –August.

How Much Does it Cost to Play?

It is $400 to participate in the Warriors program (payment plans are available). This fee covers all expenses that the team may incur throughout the league season such as uniforms, gym rentals, some out of town traveling. There may be some incidental expenses with some out of state tournaments.

What can we do as parents?

Support the program! We need parent support to serve your family well. Some areas where we might need your help are: transporting players to tournaments, fundraising, keeping score at games and helping the coach.
