Homies season ends in dissapointing fashion with 9-3 loss to Moes. Wesley Homes came into the tournament playing there best ball of the year relying on great starting pitching and defense, at one point allowing 0 earned runs in 40 plus innings.  Unfortunate that the exact opposite occurred when it mattered most. Moes scored 9 runs off 6 hits in part to 10 walks and 2 errors. Wesleys offense never got on track either playing the entire tournament from behind. It was not what Wesley had in mind but all in all it was another successful season winning the Park National for the 4th time in 5 seasons, and appearing in there 6th straight state tournament.  With several prospects in  the works for 2010 we hope to get back to the the title game!

  Wesley Homes baseball has been one of the elite clubs in class A amateur baseball over the past 8 seasons. Some of the accomplishments include winning the Park National league 4 out of the past 5 seasons, and appearing in the class A state tournament 7 out of the past 8 seasons. From 04-09 Wesley has a impressive 100-29 record against Park National competetition. The Homies have made a remarkable run in state over the past 4 seasons compiling a record of 11-6, which of only  Minnetonka and St Louis Park have a better record. The Homies took top 3 in state from 2005-2007 taking home the state title in 05, runner up in 06, and 3rd in 07.  Combining a solid group of veterans with youthful college players the 2009 Homies look to once make a deep run in the 2009 state tournament!
