RECENT GAME RESULTS
Wednesday July 11th. On a windy cold night (colder for me as I was all wet!(Thanks Ryan - you just wait)), we struggled at first, collected ourselves, had some good and not so good moments, and in the end, we came up short by one. Hold your heads up as this game went back and fourth and received a standing ovation when it was over. Thanks for a great year guys, you proved you are a fabulous team, and a pleasure to coach and watch play! Have a great Summer guys, hopefully I'll see you next season!

Sunday July 8th. Mercy me, on a hot and dusty Sunday, we stood face to face with our goal, stared it down and drove it into the dirt until it cried for mercy (pardon me, that was another story). The boys put on a valiant effort once again to the delight of the Waverley faithful, and once again proved they belong in the championship game. Too many stars to mention, it is beginning to look like some kind of constellation. Look forward to Wednesday when we do this thing one more time for the record!

- Saturday July 7th. Two games today, two wins. This morning started slow in the field, but our first batter to register an out by Deer Lodge happened in the third inning. This game spared some pitchers for the afternoon game and for Sunday's games.
Gateway proved to be a challenge similar to David vs Goliath (what did they feed their boys?). We started strong, then faultered but recovered nicely thanks to some awesome pitching by Andrew C. for the last four innings. great effort today, hope you are well rested for tomorrow. One more win and we're playing again Wednesday:>).
