VIKES SEARCHING FOR INAUGURAL SEASON PLAYERS

In preparation for the '09 inaugural season, the Vikes need to fill openings at every position. Although the recruiting drive is just beginning, any current UVic student or any player interested in attending the University of Victoria is encouraged to contact us right away with any questions, concerns, or comments. While filling these positions may start out as a daunting task for the Vikes coaching staff, it could serve as a terrific opportunity for college level players concerned about playing time at another institution. With a clean slate to work from and no standout or veteran players, this could be an incredible chance for a player to take his game to a completely new level instead of trying to find a place on an already established lineup.
